Oxley's at Underscar nestles on the lower slopes of Skiddaw fell, set in the grounds of a 19th Century; grade II listed manor house alongside the luxurious 5 star Underscar time-ownership facility. Best described as a retreat, this beautiful health spa is set amidst 40 acres of ancient wood and parkland, approximately 2 miles from the quaint market town of Keswick in the Northern Lakes. A tree-canopied driveway gently winds up through immaculately tended gardens with breathtaking views towards Derwentwater and the magnificent Borrowdale valley beyond.

The Italianate features on the exterior of the building are contrasted by the stylish modern interior and calm decor as you enter. Here, in a haven of peace and tranquillity you will find a unique atmosphere to help you achieve a deep sense of calm and well being. Relax in our beautifully designed treatment rooms with gentle colour changing lights, soft soothing music and lusciously comfortable therapy couches.

Spa Day guests can do as much or as little as they choose, from an invigorating workout using state of the art Technogym equipment to a gentle swim and wallow in the Jacuzzi. Lunch is served in our Bistro, offering fresh local produce and a selection of tempting home-made cakes and fair-trade coffee.

Oxley's at Ambleside, voted 'Best Day Spa' by Spa World Magazine, is situated in the centre of the bustling yet picturesque village of Ambleside, on the shores of Windermere in the heart of the Lake District.

Contemporary furnishings, soft, coloured lighting, an array of different textures, soothing music and delectably comfortable therapy couches all complement this purpose built Day Spa which has five distinctive treatment rooms including a Vichy hydrotherapy suite and couples room, a dedicated manicure and pedicure lounge and large retail area.
